Sauza Tequila | Oldest Brand
Sauza tequila is one of the oldest brands of tequila besides Jose Cuervo that can be traced back in it’s origin to 1873. It was established and founded by Don Cenobio Sauza under the company name Sauza Tequila Import Company and manufactured and distilled at La Perseverancia distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Actually Don Cenobio Sauza himself was the first individual to term the spirit often known as Mezcal- Tequila. Another unique trait that this brand of tequila has is that it is the first tequila to be exported outside of Mexican borders. The Sauza tequila empire has been passed down through nearly six generations, and is still growing strong.

It often boasts greatly but humbly in other competitions, however consumers and consistent sales indicate that it is a successful brand of tequila. Here are a few of the consumer reviews that speak worlds about this reputable brand of tequila:
Sauza tequila is traditionally sold in 80 proof meaning it is 40% alcohol. Most of their types and labels of tequila are derived from 100% of the blue agave plant that makes up tequila. They have a great variety of tequila types and makes and several different ways in which they are aged, distilled, and produced. They may rank modestly in competitions, however it is actually up to you the consumer to decide if it is worthy of your patronage.
